2022 STEAM Enrichment Course
Course details:
- 10 sessions (from 8 Jan 2022 to 9 April 2022 tentatively)
- Every Saturday, 1000-1200 hrs (GMT +8)
- The course will be conducted in English
- Course size is limited to 30 pax
- Course Fees: Fee: $ 7,000 NT + $3,000 NT (Bee-Bot)
- Participants will receive a certificate of completion from EA-Tsing Hua STEAM School upon completion.
Course description:
Students will apply DDMT Model to navigate the life of a bee. Although the original project focuses on the bee as an object, they are given the flexibility to expand possibilities.
Consisting of a series of mini projects, the capstone requires students to write and direct a play. The projects are designed with an increasing impact of influence, starting from the individual, moving on to school and eventually the community.
Through the projects, students can acquire 21st century skills such as creativity, communication and collaboration which is attuned to the Curriculum Guideline of the 12-Year Basic Education.

活動介紹
本次營隊主題為《拯救動物城市大作戰》，我們將運用清華DDMT模式進行教學，以情境故事帶領學生發現問題（Discover）、定義問題並學習相關背景知識（Define）、找出解決方法後動手做出模型（Model and Modeling），最後進行分享和發表（Transfer）。
學生將以小組方式進行，在過程中除了能了解設計思考的脈絡並實行，同時也能增進溝通合作和表達能力。

活動介紹:
清華DDMT教學模式，透過D(Discover)發現、D(Define)定義、M(Model&Modeling)模型與建模及T(Transfer)遷移四段歷程，引導幼兒發現生活中的問題，充分了解待解決的問題後，思考並設計解決的辦法，最後實際動手進行試驗。
本次寒假營隊中，將會帶領幼兒體驗清華DDMT教學模式，並透過小組討論的方式，與同伴共同設計出可行的解決辦法後，再實際動手操作，針對生活中所遇到的問題進行改善。
